CARITO EXPERIMENTAL BUILD CLASS v1.0
=================================

Document: Experimental_Build_Class.txt
Status: Classification Definition
Applies To: All Carrito builds designated as experimental

--------------------------------------------------
1. PURPOSE
--------------------------------------------------
This document defines the Experimental Build Class and its role
within the Carrito platform.

It exists to give innovation a formal place without compromising
baseline safety, legality, or inspection clarity.

--------------------------------------------------
2. CORE PRINCIPLE
--------------------------------------------------
Experimentation is allowed.
Misrepresentation is not.

Experimental builds must be clearly labeled
and honestly disclosed.

--------------------------------------------------
3. DEFINITION
--------------------------------------------------
An Experimental Build is any Carrito vehicle or module that:
- Uses unverified components
- Uses experimental casting methods
- Exceeds baseline configuration limits
- Deviates from certified Power Frame designs

--------------------------------------------------
4. CLASSIFICATION
--------------------------------------------------
Experimental builds are designated:
Compatibility Class C

Class C:
- Experimental
- Non-baseline
- Non-street-legal by default

--------------------------------------------------
5. ALLOWED ACTIVITIES
--------------------------------------------------
Experimental builds may:
- Test new Power Frame designs
- Use experimental engine components
- Explore alternative materials
- Operate in controlled environments

--------------------------------------------------
6. PROHIBITED CLAIMS
--------------------------------------------------
Experimental builds must not claim:
- Baseline street legality
- Certification equivalence
- Safety guarantees beyond disclosure

--------------------------------------------------
7. LABELING REQUIREMENTS
--------------------------------------------------
Experimental builds must:
- Display EXPERIMENTAL labeling
- Declare Class C status in serials
- Include documentation disclaimers

--------------------------------------------------
8. OPERATIONAL LIMITS
--------------------------------------------------
Experimental builds:
- Are not intended for public road use
- Should operate under supervision
- Must accept higher risk profiles

--------------------------------------------------
9. INSPECTION ROLE
--------------------------------------------------
Inspectors may:
- Identify experimental designation
- Verify disclosure and labeling
- Decline road approval

--------------------------------------------------
10. PATH TO MATURITY
--------------------------------------------------
Experimental designs may:
- Inform future standards
- Graduate to certified designs
- Be retired without obligation

--------------------------------------------------
11. LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
--------------------------------------------------
Experimental status:
- Shifts responsibility to the builder
- Requires informed consent
- Limits platform liability

--------------------------------------------------
12. SUMMARY
--------------------------------------------------
The Experimental Build Class protects both
innovation and integrity.

Freedom lives here.
Claims do not.
