CARITO SMALL GRID SACRED POWER VOLUME (SG-SPV) SPEC v1.0
================================================

Document: SG_SPV_Spec.txt
Status: Grid Specification / Non-Negotiable
Applies To: All Small Grid MMF cages, Power Frames, and power systems

--------------------------------------------------
1. PURPOSE
--------------------------------------------------
This document defines the Sacred Power Volume (SPV) for the Small Grid (SG).
It establishes the fixed internal envelope and protected zones that all
Small Grid power systems must respect.

--------------------------------------------------
2. SG-SPV CORE PRINCIPLE
--------------------------------------------------
The SG-SPV is intentionally oversized.

It is defined before engine selection and must not be reduced to better
fit a current power system.

--------------------------------------------------
3. SG-SPV INTERNAL ENVELOPE
--------------------------------------------------
The following dimensions define the usable internal volume inside the
Small Grid MMF cage.

Internal dimensions:
- Length (front to rear): 28 inches (711 mm)
- Width (left to right): 22 inches (559 mm)
- Height (bottom to top): 22 inches (559 mm)

These dimensions exclude cage wall thickness.

--------------------------------------------------
4. REFERENCE ORIENTATION
--------------------------------------------------
For consistency:
- Front is toward vehicle front
- Rear is toward drivetrain output
- Bottom is toward chassis interface
- Top is toward service access

All measurements reference this orientation.

--------------------------------------------------
5. PROTECTED ZONES WITHIN SG-SPV
--------------------------------------------------
The SG-SPV contains the following conceptual zones:

Motor Mount Zone (MMZ):
- Primary location for engines or motors
- Typically lower-central region

Conversion Mechanics Zone (CMZ):
- Located toward rear of SPV
- Houses chains, belts, gears, generator heads, or couplers

Electrical and Control Zone (ECZ):
- Upper or side regions
- Controllers, regulators, relays

Cooling and Airflow Zone (CAZ):
- Reserved airflow paths
- Ducting permitted, permanent blockage prohibited

Service Access Zone (SAZ):
- Tool and hand access corridors
- Must not be permanently obstructed

No configuration may permanently consume all zones simultaneously.

--------------------------------------------------
6. POWER OUTPUT PLANE (SG)
--------------------------------------------------
The SG-SPV terminates at the Small Grid Power Output Plane.

Rules:
- Single mechanical power exit
- Fixed location relative to MMF cage
- Output alignment defined in SG_MMF_Cage_Standard

All power systems must terminate here.

--------------------------------------------------
7. ADJUSTMENT RANGE
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames may float within the SG-SPV to achieve alignment.

Permitted adjustment (maximum):
- Fore/Aft: +/- 1.5 inches
- Left/Right: +/- 1.0 inch
- Vertical: +/- 1.0 inch

Adjustment must use plates, slots, or shims.
The SPV envelope itself must not change.

--------------------------------------------------
8. SHIMS AND SPACERS
--------------------------------------------------
Washers and spacers may be used to correct alignment and tolerance.

Rules:
- Must be captured and secured
- Must not carry primary structural load
- Excessive stacking requires redesign or reclassification

--------------------------------------------------
9. WELDING WITHIN SG-SPV
--------------------------------------------------
Welding is permitted only for:
- Approved support structures
- Power Frame lock-in tabs
- Utility mounts

Welds must be removable or sacrificial.

--------------------------------------------------
10. COMPLIANCE AND CLASSIFICATION
--------------------------------------------------
Any build that:
- Exceeds SG-SPV dimensions
- Permanently blocks service zones
- Alters output plane location

must be reclassified as Class B or Class C.

--------------------------------------------------
11. INSPECTION ROLE
--------------------------------------------------
The SG-SPV allows inspectors to:
- Understand intended power scale
- Verify baseline eligibility
- Identify experimental deviations

--------------------------------------------------
12. AMENDMENTS
--------------------------------------------------
Changes to this specification require:
- Version increment
- Change log entry
- Platform justification
