CARITO POWER FRAME (PF) OVERVIEW v1.0
================================

Document: PF_Overview.txt
Status: Module System Overview
Applies To: All Carrito grids, MMF cages, shops, and builders

--------------------------------------------------
1. PURPOSE
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames (PF) are the primary interface between the Motor Modular Frame (MMF)
and specific power system configurations.

They exist to turn engines, generators, and electric systems into
swappable, sellable, serviceable modules without altering the vehicle.

--------------------------------------------------
2. POWER FRAMES AS PRODUCTS
--------------------------------------------------
A Power Frame is a productized module.

It may be:
- Designed once
- Built many times
- Installed by different shops
- Replaced without chassis modification

This allows local manufacturing without platform fragmentation.

--------------------------------------------------
3. WHAT A POWER FRAME IS
--------------------------------------------------
A Power Frame:
- Installs entirely within an MMF cage
- Carries sleds, CMZ structures, and utilities
- Aligns power to the defined output plane
- Preserves Sacred Power Volume boundaries

--------------------------------------------------
4. WHAT A POWER FRAME IS NOT
--------------------------------------------------
A Power Frame is not:
- A chassis modification
- An engine mount welded into the vehicle
- A permanent commitment to one power type

--------------------------------------------------
5. POWER FRAME AND THE MMF
--------------------------------------------------
The MMF defines geometry.
The Power Frame adapts to it.

Rules:
- Power Frames must never redefine MMF geometry
- Power Frames must remain removable or cuttable
- Power Frames absorb engine-specific complexity

--------------------------------------------------
6. SHOP SPECIALIZATION
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames allow shops to specialize.

Examples:
- Generator-optimized Power Frames
- Electric-only Power Frames
- Hybrid Power Frames
- Service-optimized Power Frames

Specialization occurs inside the Power Frame,
not the vehicle.

--------------------------------------------------
7. COMPATIBILITY AND CLASS
--------------------------------------------------
Each Power Frame must declare:
- Grid (SG, LG)
- Compatibility class (A, B, C)
- Supported power configuration

Compatibility applies to the Power Frame design,
not the engine alone.

--------------------------------------------------
8. POWER FRAME LIFECYCLE
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames are expected to be:
- Installed
- Removed
- Replaced
- Upgraded

The vehicle and MMF outlive multiple Power Frames.

--------------------------------------------------
9. BASELINE VS SPECIALIZED POWER FRAMES
--------------------------------------------------
Baseline Power Frames:
- Preserve service access
- Preserve future compatibility
- Support inspection clarity

Specialized Power Frames:
- Optimize for a specific use
- May reduce future flexibility
- Must be clearly labeled

--------------------------------------------------
10. INSPECTION CLARITY
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames provide inspectors with:
- Clear power configuration identification
- Predictable geometry
- Reduced ambiguity

--------------------------------------------------
11. SUMMARY
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames turn power systems into modules.

They are where commerce, innovation, and compatibility meet.
