1. PURPOSE

Carrito vehicles and summarize their configuration at a glance.

The serial system prioritizes clarity, traceability, and honesty
over obscurity or marketing.

--------------------------------------------------
2. CORE PRINCIPLE
--------------------------------------------------
A Carrito serial must:
- Reflect the vehicle’s actual configuration
- Avoid hidden or implied capabilities
- Remain readable by humans

--------------------------------------------------
3. SERIAL STRUCTURE
--------------------------------------------------
Standard vehicle serial format:

CAR-[GRID]-[MMF]-[PF]-[CLASS]-[HH]-[REV]

--------------------------------------------------
4. SERIAL FIELD DEFINITIONS
--------------------------------------------------
GRID:
SG = Small Grid
LG = Large Grid

MMF:
MMF-S = Standard MMF cage
MMF-R = Reinforced MMF cage
MMF-SV = Service-optimized MMF cage
MMF-T = Thermal-ready MMF cage

CAR-SG-MMF-T-PF-GEN4000-A-HH1-R2

Example 3:
CAR-SG-MMF-R-PF-EV72V-A-HH2-R1

--------------------------------------------------
6. SERIAL DISPLAY
--------------------------------------------------
Vehicle serials must be:
- Permanently affixed to the chassis
- Legible during inspection
- Matched to documentation

--------------------------------------------------
7. MODIFICATION AND REVISION
--------------------------------------------------
Any modification affecting:
- Grid
- MMF cage type
- Power Frame
- Compatibility class
- HH capability

requires a serial revision.

--------------------------------------------------
8. INSPECTION ROLE
--------------------------------------------------
Inspectors may:
- Decode vehicle configuration from serial
- Cross-check against documentation
- Flag mismatches

--------------------------------------------------
9. SUMMARY
