======================================

Document: Carrito_Certification_Tag_Standard.txt
Status: Certification Marking Standard
Applies To: All Carrito Certified Builders and Certified Builds

--------------------------------------------------
PURPOSE
--------------------------------------------------
This document defines the standards for Carrito certification tags,
including stickers and metal plates, and how they may be used.

Certification tags exist to provide a visible, traceable signal
that a build passed through the Carrito Certified Builder process.

--------------------------------------------------
CORE PRINCIPLE
--------------------------------------------------
Certification tags signal process participation,
not performance guarantees.

--------------------------------------------------
TAG TYPES
--------------------------------------------------
Certified builders may use:

1. Certification Stickers
   - Temporary or interior placement
   - Useful for documentation and inspection reference

2. Metal Certification Tags
   - Weld-on or riveted plates
   - Intended for permanent identification

--------------------------------------------------
REQUIRED INFORMATION
--------------------------------------------------
All certification tags must include:

- Carrito Certified mark
- Builder ID or shop identifier
- Build year
- Serial or batch reference
- Build class (A, B, or C)

Optional fields may include:
- Grid type
- Power Frame identifier

--------------------------------------------------
SERIALIZATION
--------------------------------------------------
Certification tags are serialized and tracked.

Serialization links:
- Tag → Builder
- Tag → Build documentation
- Tag → Directory listing

Tags may not be reused.

--------------------------------------------------
APPLICATION RULES
--------------------------------------------------
Certification tags:

- May only be applied by certified builders
- Must correspond to a documented build
- Must be applied after final inspection

--------------------------------------------------
PLACEMENT GUIDELINES
--------------------------------------------------
Recommended placement:
- Frame member near MMF
- Accessible but not structural-critical
- Visible during inspection

--------------------------------------------------
MISUSE AND VIOLATIONS
--------------------------------------------------
Misuse includes:
- Applying tags to uncertified builds
- Reusing tags
- Altering serialized information

Violations may result in:
- Revocation of certification
- Removal from directory
- Public delisting

--------------------------------------------------
REVOCATION AND REMOVAL
--------------------------------------------------
If certification is revoked:
- Builder must cease tag usage
- Unused tags must be returned or destroyed
- Existing builds may retain tags with public status notes

--------------------------------------------------
DISCLAIMER
--------------------------------------------------
Certification tags do not:
- Guarantee street legality
- Replace inspection
- Transfer liability

--------------------------------------------------
SUMMARY
--------------------------------------------------
Certification tags are trust markers.

They work only when used honestly.
