CARITO POWER FRAME PROGRAM LAW v1.0
=====================================

Document: 06_Power_Frame_Program.txt
Status: Foundational / Non-Negotiable
Applies To: All Carrito grids, MMF cages, Power Frames, participating shops, and builders

--------------------------------------------------
1. PURPOSE
--------------------------------------------------
The Power Frame Program defines how engine- and power-specific inner frames
(Power Frames) are designed, built, labeled, sold, and installed within the
Carrito Motor Modular Frame (MMF).

The program exists to allow specialization without breaking platform compatibility.

--------------------------------------------------
2. DEFINITION OF A POWER FRAME
--------------------------------------------------
A Power Frame (PF) is a grid-specific inner frame or sled that:
- Installs entirely within an MMF cage
- Carries a specific power system configuration
- Aligns that system to MMF interfaces
- Can be installed or removed without modifying the chassis

A Power Frame is a productized module, not an ad-hoc engine mount.

--------------------------------------------------
3. POWER FRAME AUTHORITY
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames must comply with:
- Platform Law
- Grid System Law
- MMF Charter
- Sacred Power Volume Law

No Power Frame may redefine MMF geometry, interfaces, or envelopes.

--------------------------------------------------
4. POWER FRAME TYPES
--------------------------------------------------
Recognized Power Frame categories include:
- Direct-drive engine frames
- Generator-electric hybrid frames
- Full electric frames
- Experimental or special-use frames

Each Power Frame must declare its type explicitly.

--------------------------------------------------
5. SHOP PARTICIPATION
--------------------------------------------------
Participating shops may:
- Design Power Frames
- Build Power Frames
- Sell Power Frames as products

Shops must:
- Declare full serial identifiers
- Declare compatibility class
- Disclose any deviations from baseline

--------------------------------------------------
6. CERTIFICATION MODEL
--------------------------------------------------
Certification applies to Power Frame designs, not individual shops.

A certified Power Frame design:
- Receives an official design ID
- May be built by any qualified shop
- Must be built to published specifications

--------------------------------------------------
7. COMPATIBILITY CLASSES
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames must declare compatibility class.

Class A:
- Removable without cutting
- Future Carrito motors supported

Class B:
- Optimized for current power system
- Future swaps require Power Frame or CMZ replacement

Class C:
- Experimental
- No future compatibility guarantees

--------------------------------------------------
8. WELDING AND LOCK-IN
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames may be:
- Bolted
- Clamped
- Welded using approved lock zones

Welded Power Frames must:
- Use sacrificial or removable tabs
- Allow restoration of MMF baseline geometry

--------------------------------------------------
9. SERIAL AND LABELING
--------------------------------------------------
All Power Frames must:
- Carry a permanent serial identifier
- Declare grid and compatibility class
- Display upgrade capabilities accurately

Mislabeling is a violation of platform law.

--------------------------------------------------
10. BASELINE VS SPECIALIZED FRAMES
--------------------------------------------------
Baseline Power Frames:
- Use conservative layouts
- Preserve service access
- Are suitable for street-legal claims

Specialized Power Frames:
- May reduce service margins
- Must be clearly labeled
- Must not be sold as baseline by default

--------------------------------------------------
11. INSPECTION ROLE
--------------------------------------------------
Inspectors may rely on Power Frame identification to:
- Understand power configuration
- Verify baseline eligibility
- Identify experimental systems

--------------------------------------------------
12. REMOVAL AND UPGRADES
--------------------------------------------------
Power Frames are expected to be removable over the vehicle’s lifetime.

Upgrades should occur by replacing Power Frames, not altering MMF cages.

--------------------------------------------------
13. AMENDMENTS
--------------------------------------------------
Changes to this law require:
- Version increment
- Change log entry
- Platform justification

--------------------------------------------------
END OF POWER FRAME PROGRAM LAW
--------------------------------------------------
